I'm inspired by the works of Rick Joy for their simple clean but bold forms..... Mathias Klotz for his pure geometry and play on mass and space. ...and Tadao Ando for his sanctuary and tranquillity.
I enjoy the intensity of old cities..... cities rich in culture....steeped in history.....teeming with people and deafening in noise....Hanoi, Shanghai, Mexico City and the perennial favourites, New York and Paris.... but always good to come home to New Zealand....
